About Ring Widget

Health signals that stay visible

Ring Widget is an Apple-platform app that turns data from an Oura account into glanceable widgets for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. It is built for people who want to check readiness, sleep, activity, HRV, resting heart rate, temperature trends, daytime stress, ideal bedtime, Cardiovascular Age, or Cardio Capacity without repeatedly opening an app. The goal is simple: place the right amount of health context on the screen where it is useful.

Independently made

Ring Widget is published by independent developer Aliaksandr Drankou in Brno, Czech Republic. The app uses Oura's official API and authorization flow, but it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oura Health Oy. It works with the supported information in a user's Oura account rather than connecting directly to ring hardware.

Who writes the guides

Aliaksandr Drankou builds Ring Widget and writes the guides on this site. They explain Oura features and scores from Oura’s own support articles and blog, link to those sources, and say what Ring Widget can and can’t show. They are not medical advice. If you find a mistake, email support@ringwidget.app; corrected guides show the date they were updated.

Privacy and product principles

We do not collect your health data. Your Oura health data goes directly from Oura to your device, where Ring Widget processes and stores it locally. Your health metrics do not pass through or get stored on our servers. Authorization tokens are stored in your device’s Keychain. Our server temporarily handles tokens during sign-in and refresh, but does not store them or use them to retrieve your health data. Product analytics are deliberately limited and exclude Oura scores, raw measurements, account credentials, and personally identifiable information. The full details, including the data controller and service providers, are published in the privacy policy.
